Improved Website Design
Improved Web page design.
After some peer assessment, I improved my web page design. They thought it was best that I remove the advertisement and add something different. I decided to add a feature which will allow the fans of the band to sign up to the website. Making them more involved with the band as they can receive emails from the web page about the band, keeping them up to date with the bands activities. Ive also added a forum so fans are able to talk to one another about the band.
I've also added images of the band so fans can see and enjoy them and also make new fans aware of their image when they visit the site.

Planning a Narrative

What we did today - 7/11/12
Today me and my group discussed different possible ideas for our music video, ranging from possible locations to the narrative of the video. We now have an initial idea for our music video which we plan to develop. Because our video will involve objects being smashed, we will have to make risk assessments and be very cautious when filming these shots. Possible locations so far include the top of a building, possibly in london and the London Eye. So far our performance will involve one man playing a guitar, and shots of him smashing objects. This will need to be developed much further but we at least have an initial idea to work and build upon.

Pitch for music video
1) It would start out in a dark room with one single spotlight, a man would be sitting under the spotlight with the guitar. He begins playing and singing while it continuously cuts to a shot of the singer and a woman doing stuff like laughing with each other. Once the other instruments kicks in, its a shots of him smashing various objects. Its quite a dark music video with lots of anger and emotion shown.
2) A man is sitting at his computer playing World of Warcraft when the computer suddenly switches off. He is at first shocked and sad, but then picks up his guitar and starts singing to the computer, how his game has 'gone to the stars'. It would then be followed by a series of random events, which is typical of the Dubstep genre. Such as students in exams suddenly throwing their table and exam papers and running out of the hall. These random occurances will amuse the audience, as the video will be a comedic representation of the Dubstep genre.
